according

the
National
Association

Realtors.

2005,
a
total

183,123
homes
were
sold
in
Illinois,
compared
to
179,549
sales
in
2004,
reports
the
Illinois
Association
of
Realtors.
•The
median
price
of
single-family
homes
sold
in
Chicagoland
increased
10.5%
to
$265,000
in
the
fourth
quarter
of
2005
compared
to
$239,900
in
the
same
period
one
year
ago,
reports
the
Illinois
Association
of
Realtors.
•2.82 million second home sales was reported by NAR, an increase from 2.42 million in 2003.
